The location was perfect for exploring the area on foot or by bike, without needing to rely on a car. The cottage's garden was a good sun trap, ideal for enjoying meals outdoors. Inside, the cottage was well-equipped, with comfy beds and a cozy log burner. Despite a few dirty plates left by previous guests, it was a lovely stay overall. The cottage's proximity to three local pubs and its easy access to Bakewell made it even more appealing. I would definitely recommend this accommodation for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway. it was a good experience.

Had a wonderful stay at Gritstone Cottage for a week. Perfect location, just an hour's walk from Bakewell with 3 nearby pubs. Loved the cozy log burner and comfy beds. All necessary amenities provided. The highlight was the lovely garden, a sun trap for delightful al fresco meals. Definitely plan on staying here again!
